i buy every book leah brooke (or lana dare) writes and i haven't regretted one yet. this was not my favorite of the desire, oklahoma series but it was still great.

Summary: "Favorite in the series"

This is one book that I will come back to and read again. It made me laugh, cry, and even better yet, wet. I loved that he was really trying to protect her from his dark side that he did think she could handle. Boy, was he wrong. The last sex scene was a bit eye opening on what they considered full submission. If you are into BDSM books, you will enjoy this.

Summary: "No a million times means no!"

Don't get me wrong. Anytime Leah writes something I am one of the first to buy it. I love her books. I cannot stand a "strong" woman begging a man over and over again to be with her, and then not listening to him when he says "no". That's just a little too icky to me. It made the story repetitive plus I started wishing Hope would just step off the side walk and get hit by a bus. She did everything just to get attention! He didn't give it to her, so she did something else? Does this not remind you of junior high? That doesn't make a woman "strong" by the way incase any person out there is under this false impression. I hope the next book written by ms brooke is better. She's one of my favorites.

Its a great addition to the series and i loved the plot for this book.I'm a big fan of this author,i stumbled upon one of the books by accident and had to go and buy all the books i could get from her. I'd recommend this book to anyone and don't be surprised if you have hot flashes.

Summary: "4 Hearts from TRS!"

This book was an interesting read that had me right from the beginning. Hope is one determined woman. I loved the way she gets under Ace's skin. He loves her but insists on staying away. Ace is a great alpha male. He may have a tough exterior but underneath it all he has a warm heart. The bond that develops between these two is not only hot but it is also a strong one. No matter how much Ace tries to push Hope away it only makes her try harder. It takes the scare of almost losing Hope to make Ace see the light but that in itself brings on a whole new set of problems between them. The love and trust that Hope has for Ace and his love for her was a wonderful read and watching her taunt Ace to death was very amusing. Their story is a very intense read going through an entire gamut of emotions for both the characters and the reader themselves.

Leah Brooke knows how to pull the reader into a story and keeping you fully entertained. Each and every one of the characters endears themselves to you. This book can be read as a stand-alone but if you have not read the others in this series this book will definitely get you interested in finding the others. I truly enjoyed this book and will be on the lookout for the next in this series. - Gabrielle
